PAYMENT METHODS
Cash and check are acceptable forms of payment and will not be assessed any convenience charges. Checks returned for NSF will be assessed a $50 service charge. We also accept all forms of major credit cards.
CARD TRANSACTIONS
All card transactions are subject to a 3% convenience charge, this includes any in-house financial payments that are billed automatically, and/or any charges that are billed as a result of no show, cancellation, etc.
APPOINTMENTS
All appointments require a credit card and/or down payment/deposit on file to hold your appointment.
All Deposits/down payments, and/or fees billed due to no call, no show, late arrival, and/or missed virtual appointment, etc. Are 100% Non Refundable, NO EXCEPTIONS.
In the event of a cancellation with proper notice (at least 24 hours of esthetic services, and 48 hours of permanent makeup services), a deposit/down payment can be applied towards another service if you choose to no longer move forward with the service originally scheduled for, but are not refundable.
To cancel or reschedule an appointment you must CALL or TEXT the business number for the location your appointment is scheduled. Oakbrook, 708-998-2099 St Charles 630-347-7900. DO NOT email, message with social media, or use personal phone numbers for any of the team.
48 hour notice is required in the event you need to cancel or reschedule a permanent makeup appointment.
24 hours notice is required to cancel any esthetic services.
Late cancellation charges are applicable when this required notice isn’t provided using the indicated form of communication.
Late cancellation charges are 50% of all services booked (plus any additional cc processing fees incurred).
Arrival more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of your appointment will be considered a late cancellation and charged a 50% late cancellation fee. Please call if you’re running behind so we can advise our staff, and check availability to accommodate you along with other clients scheduled.
NO CALL/NO SHOW will be charged 100% of the service fee for all services scheduled (plus any additional cc processing fees incurred).
No refunds (or credits) will be issued if a client no call/no show to a scheduled appointment.
Clients with a pre-paid package/series of treatments that do not call to cancel/reschedule, or do not show for a scheduled appointment, will forfeit that session from the package.
VIRTUAL CONSULTATIONS (i.e. health interview, medical interview, consultation)
One (1) health interview with the Medical Director is included as a part of certain treatments. Any missed appointments with the medical director will be charged a no show fee. If you have completed a consultation with our medical director and do not move forward with scheduled treatments at OAA within a 1 month period, there will be a service fee charged to the card on file for the interview. Service fees and no show fees are non refundable and cannot be used at a later date for other services. Consultations completed are valid for a period of 1 year and will remain on your records. Should you choose to proceed with your treatments within that year you will not need to complete another consultation. You will not be reimbursed or credited for the service fee charged/paid due to a previous cancellation. Consultations need to be renewed annually if actively undergoing treatments that require approval of the medical director, a service charge may be applicable.
NO REFUNDS
No Refunds for services, products, retail items, and/or fees charged/assessed.
No refunds (or credits) will be issued for any fees charged due to no call, no show, late cancellation, late arrival, failure to provide the required amount of time to reschedule, cancellation, or any other unforeseeable reason.
No refunds will be given on a deposit/down payment if the client fails to notify the practice of pre-existing conditions (see consent forms for contraindications) at least 48 hours prior to a scheduled permanent makeup procedure, and service is refused due to that condition. When no deposit/down payment is in place, the client will be charged 50% of the full value of the services scheduled to their card/payment method on file.
COLLECTION OF FEES
We reserve the right to be collected (via card on file) any and all fees incurred by the merchant which are associated as a result of a dispute filed by the customer in the event that the merchant wins the dispute.
Pre & Post Care Instructions
Pre & post care instructions are for your safety and for the best outcome of your procedure.
Please be sure to read ALL of the instructions thoroughly to avoid being refused service and a missed appointment fee being charged.
We don’t like having to enforce these rules or charge these fees, so please don’t make us.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SHOW UP FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT PREPARED, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN.
Failure to follow all precare instructions may cause the need to reschedule your appointment and $150 rescheduling fee will be charged.
Any active breakouts, birthmarks, moles, raised bumps or other obstructions in the area to be tattooed will need to be rescheduled and charged $150 rescheduling/missed appointment fee.
Please check your skin, if anything is in the area, you will not be tattooed and will incur a fee for the appointment.
It is best to see a Dr. to get written permissions (or have the lesion removed prior to your appointment).

Late Policy
To avoid unfair delays to clients, if you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be required to reschedule, charges may apply as indicated in the Policy above. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, however last minute changes affect not only your technician, but other clients as well. We are not responsible for providing directions if you are lost or late. We are not responsible if you’re late and miss your appointment and incur charges as a result.
Follow Up Policy
A Follow up (also known as a touch up visit) is required for each new permanent makeup procedure. Follow ups are to be completed no sooner than
8 weeks and no later than 4 months after your 1st visit. If your touch up isn’t completed in the allotted time period, it’s considered an incomplete procedure and a new set of brows will be required (2 visits) and charged full price. Annual color boost (or touch ups) are to be done annually, within
12-18 months (for microblading) or 18-24 months (for ombre/powder style brows) of your last appointment (the follow up visit) to qualify for the lower priced color boost. No exceptions to this policy, time frames are set due to the amount of pigment loss and color shifting that occurs past these points which causes the need for color corrections and/or lightening sessions to give the best outcome for long term results. Color correction sessions or lightening/removal is an additional expense. There will be an additional charge for clients who exceed those time frames as indicated on the pricing page of the permanent makeup tab.
Previous Tattoo
If you have a previous tattoo/permanent makeup, you are required to contact our office prior to your appointment. It is required that you submit clear, close up photos in good lighting. If there is a possibility that you are not a candidate for microblading or other type of eyebrow style, removal will be recommended first. A $150 appointment fee will be charged if you arrive to an appointment without sending photos of prior permanent makeup, are not a candidate for microblading or powder/hybrid brows, and wish not to proceed with a different style of brows or removal.
Skin Conditions
Any active breakouts in the area to be tattooed will need to be rescheduled and charged a $150 rescheduling fee if you do not provide 24 hour notice.
Active breakouts in the tattooed area can spread infection throughout the area and can be very dangerous to the skin. Any birthmarks or moles on or near the area to be tattooed are a contraindication and need to be approved prior to scheduling an appointment, text a photo to the number below.

Although these policies may seem strict and unnecessary, they have been implemented as a result of experience.
